What the manual says
Two columns tell the whole story of F5 (F05 on some lists). The fault: pressure system failure. What to do: contact service. Nothing else is printed.
What a pressure system does
A dishwasher needs to know how much water is in the tub. Many designs use a pressure sensor for that, and the E1 entry in other Bertazzoni manuals names a pressure switch among the parts to check. The F5 table does not say which part is meant, so the name tells you the system, not a specific component.
What you can safely do
- Cancel the program and switch the machine off.
- Do not run the machine again to see if it clears. The fill level is the thing under supervision here.
What you should not do
Do not remove panels or tubes to look for a sensor. Without the manufacturer’s detail, you would not know which part is which.
Where else to look
- E1: a fill that took too long, where the DW24PR manual lists a pressure switch check
- F9: another entry with no owner steps
Questions about F5
Can I find out more about F5 from the manual? The manuals in this group list it in one line, so there is no further detail to find.
Is F5 the same as E1? No. E1 is a slow fill with seven checks listed; F5 is a pressure system failure with none.
